How Did We Get Here?
It started with a typical listening comprehension paper-setting. The department had purchased a package, only to find that we had to redo the entire paper ourselves due to the challenges it presented.
That added an additional 3 hours of work in an already typically-busy Term 3 of an academic year.
So, we thought, How can we make the lives of EL teachers easier? The answer was simple: make rigorous listening comprehension papers with proper explanations for the answer scheme. Eliminate the need for teachers to keep reviewing the listening comprehension papers.
Thus, Dewey Learning was born.
